The client comissioned online medical to create an entirely new website for thier already established practice. The practice structure and offering was quite complex, touching on a number of areas such as Varicose Veins, Vascular, Compression Fitting Service and Nutrition. Their services also include a vascular laboratory providing specialist ultrasound diagnosis and reporting, Endovenous Laser Therapy and Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy. The design was required to allow the patient to easily identify and understand the practice offering.
This was a challenging project from a brand perspective. There are three brands that are ofshoots from the primary Vascular Health Group brand. We needed to ensure the design gave appropriate exposure to these bands, while maintaining the clear dominance of the primary brand. Additionally, we needed to structure the information relating to their services in a logical way that was in alignment with the brands that make up the brand family. This had to be done in a way that was not too overwhelming or distracting for the user, but still provided visual interest.
We eventually settled on a presenting the primary brand logo dominant in the header, with the other brand logos appearing in the footer. These were globabl elements that could be reached at any time. These logos were linked to pages that specifically discus the oferrings of the sub brands. The design works well to fulfill the requirements of a clear, easy to understand offering. The responsive design (optimised for desktop, tablet and mobile devices) works nicely. Client was happy with the final result.
